Well, now that Fox News has outed you as Soulja Boy ...

Yah. At least it was relatively good natured. If utterly clueless.

Posted by: Cheryl at April 24, 2008 4:54 AM

You mean this isn't Soulja Boy's vlog?!!! WTF!

Posted by: rollingwithwheat at April 24, 2008 7:52 AM

Posted by: w&w at April 24, 2008 9:17 AM

Now let me see you Crank Dat!

Posted by: Clyde Smith at April 24, 2008 9:37 AM

Posted by: Clyde Smith at April 24, 2008 9:37 AM

Posted by: Markus at April 24, 2008 9:40 AM

Posted by: swan at April 24, 2008 10:46 AM

Connectedness. lol

I gotta laugh at that attempt Fox News made at reporting. But that's living proof to show you how serious and how far Fox News is willing to go to investigate a story... pretty much take everything @ face value.

Posted by: Nukirk at April 24, 2008 11:07 AM

^^eskay?, doesn't nahright get enough comments on its own site? lol nice vid jay.

Posted by: Brent at April 24, 2008 11:28 AM

A slight resemblance actually. What, you don't see it?

Posted by: J-Mass at April 24, 2008 11:33 AM

YAH! Fox news! YAH!

but anyway, it was a damn good mash-up that you did, it made me laugh, and now we can all laugh at Fox news, which is rare, because they usually make me want to cry...or just hate.

But hey! no more on the hating thing right? CONNECTEDNESS!

I am NOT being sarcastic, I am truly feeling you and thanks so much for the connectedness reminder.

and congrats on the free publicity, dubious or not.

Posted by: brothajohn at April 24, 2008 11:34 AM

NPR did you so much more justice...and they knew what they were talking about. That's how I ended up here, actually. Props.

Posted by: withoutscene at April 24, 2008 12:16 PM

Wow, Soulja Boy!?!? Jay, is it really you?? I don't know who to trust now.

Seriously Fox News, do your f*cking job!

Posted by: Mike at April 24, 2008 1:20 PM

oh man! HAHAHA hilarious.

I wonder how much they think you got paid to appear in SB's video? :D

Posted by: bill c. at April 24, 2008 1:26 PM

Haha lol!
This one was great!

Posted by: E at April 24, 2008 4:14 PM

Ha ha, first time on the news I gather, and you don't even get credit for it :))

I seriously love your stuff, you're an inspiration.

So, keep it up!

Posted by: seoulsonyk at April 24, 2008 11:51 PM

Yup. I'm digging the "Run it by the mailroom guy" method of factchecking.

Oy.

Posted by: missb at April 25, 2008 2:39 AM

hahaha ummm.. did that REALLY JUST HAPPEN?

Posted by: colin at April 25, 2008 5:01 AM

Too much. Love me some poor Fox News fact-checking.

Posted by: Nicholas Freilich at April 25, 2008 6:43 PM

Wow...just, wow.

Posted by: J. Dakar at April 25, 2008 11:58 PM

can't they see that your sunglasses have "jay" and "smooth" painted on them. definitely not soulja boy. haha.
idk about the mailroom fact checking method. i know if i worked in the mailroom, i'd be really tempted to mess with them. like "of course, it's soulja boy. there's political undertones to all his music. few people know this, but crank dat was an in depth dissection of reaganomics."

It's been a long time, Jay. I just got back from vaca. I got to read like 5 of your videos all at once! You always bring a smile to my face.

Posted by: Cameron at April 29, 2008 8:56 PM

Haha, that's outstanding. Leave it to them to screw it up.

Posted by: Steven Klassen at April 30, 2008 12:41 PM

Bugga-bah! Stephanopolous, bugga-bah! LOL

Posted by: Flocab at July 10, 2008 6:23 PM

And people wonder why it is important to have diversity in the work place. If only they had one young minority working with them at Fox news, this could've been avoided.
