Even Soulja Boy Hated Last Night's Debate

April 17, 2008

[if you are new here, be sure to check out this post in which I impersonate a GOOD rapper :) ]

Exclusive world premiere, a remix of this song.

YAHHH! Charles Gibson you're preposterous
Acting like a toy with your bay Stephanopolous
Hosting the debate and boy you know that you were tripping
Gossiping so much they should call you Perez Gibson
Asking all these questions bout some flags on lapels
while our whole economy is getting dragged into hell?
In case you haven't guessed it yet
we're trying to pick a PRESIDENT
so why is everything you're talking bout so irrelevant?

(I guess one could point out that most of the questions that Soulja Boy and I hated did supposedly come from the audience, and thus argue this was what the people wanted, and we just didn't like it cuz we are elite creative class types..?)

Besides they didn't even show the thing in HD. I did love Clinton's "Vote for me because I can win; my dirty laundry is out in the streets already!" theme. I also love how C-Gib kept trying to link Rev. Wrights dis-invitation to an event to those you tube comments after Barrack clearly stated it was because of Rolling Stone comments; all which happened before the youtube stuff. I don't want to say it was a "right wing hit job", but maybe they just decided he was getting a little to much love from the media. They really couldn't get too tough on him on any particular issues.Cause Clinton and him ARE pretty darn similar. They asked him more about his associations than Clinton about her out right lies. If this Aeyers (sp?) dude is on the table how do they gloss over her senior political adviser negotiating on NAFTA while on the clock? Just a bad job overall by ABC. They came off looking like jerks.

And please next time in HD. I didn't buy this damn TV for nothing.

You bought an HD tv to watch people debate?
It's like that tie is in my living room.
Ahaahahha

I just love you so much sometimes.

Though I wouldn't mind a little Howard Dean YAH in the mix.

Great video -- fast turnaround, which mean great timing too!. fyi, this was blogged at DailyKos.com, you can find it here:

Also, here is an image (click the link by my name) that was also posted there to help communicate instantly what's inside that video, and that it's ridiculing Steph & Gibs.

This video is infectious. I love it!!!

So Smooth,
Why you gotta make it hard for a Brother to pick a favorite line in a remix by making the entire thing a favorite?
Further more…Why you gotta make it hard on a Brother to pick a favorite image in a video by making the entire thing so damn alluring?

And finally…How is it you (with the help of a mere boy) can say more in a brief time; than a big conglomeration, fronted by two elitist, can say in…

wow, you're really the best. i just discovered this blog last week and now it's the first thing i go to every day. right on, man.

Posted by: audubon at April 18, 2008 10:35 AM

HAHAHAHHA~ brilliant, par for course. i have to agree with gwen on this one. the only thing that could have possibly made this funnier was the howard dean YAH...

I was watching Inside Edition (yea, the non-stop news show) to know what happened at this. Asking irrelevant questions FTL.

You the man Smooth. I always love your commentary but it's fun to have some fun with it sometimes.

Posted by: Guido Sarducci IV at April 18, 2008 9:32 PM

you see nahright?

Foxnews credited soulja boy with this video haha

Posted by: Brent at April 19, 2008 6:02 PM

i love it! too bad the fox researchers are so stupid - they don't know how to credit what they show!

Posted by: tricia at April 19, 2008 8:16 PM

fox news is a joke.

Posted by: ash at April 20, 2008 12:36 PM

Geez... I thought it was a joke... but it's true. Soulja Boy got credit from Fox News. I can't wait to hear the press release...

... "Nah mean? I ain't that intelligent! I ain't do no ish like that? That's a wannabe Soulja Boy..."

Posted by: Nukirk at April 21, 2008 3:12 PM

I literally fell off the couch! That was so funny yet so on point...I'm speechless

another priceless gem

Posted by: DJ Diva at April 21, 2008 11:58 PM

...Fox News isn't news, but that's besides the point.

Well down on the video, absolutely hilarious, and very true, I couldn't stand to see them sandbag Obama. And is Stephenopolous really their idea of a "bias moderater"? ABC News is now second after Fox in my book. I also saw the thing on NahRight, wow, I mean, that just sucks dude. Soulja Boy doesn't even know how to spell "preposterous". Great work though, can't wait for the next video.
