[note before watching: Kara Walker's work contains a lot of intense/provocative imagery, though I didn't use any of the illest ones here]

Yesterday I went to the Kara Walker exhibit at the Whitney, and found the actor who plays Chris Partlow on "The Wire" there browsing the work. Having those two worlds intersect was so surreal and so perfect, I decided to commemorate by blending some of Walker's images with The Wire's theme song. (Parts of the video come from here.)

I'm still processing the exhibit and what I take from it, how her work and the reaction it generates can be related to hip-hop.. perhaps to be discussed in a future video. Make sure to catch if you;re in NY though, it ends Feb. 3rd and a youtube doesn't do her imagery justice at all.

Ice Cube gives the still-bearded and writerless Conan O'Brien a Robert Mckee breakdown of the romantic comedy genre, and lobbies for a shot at the Mr T role in John Singleton's rumored A-Team movie. Ice Cube as BA Baracus..

How would you cast the rest of the hip-hop A-Team? I'd go with Rza as the boss/mastermind Hannibal, Lil Wayne as "Howling Mad" Murdock, and I dunno maybe Cam'ron as the smooth talking con artist "Faceman." Who would you guys pick?
